Good news! I am back on the radio, or will be anyway.
Tune in tomorrow morning, at 7:30, to TJ and Lisa, on 93.1fm, as they welcome me back in studio!
We will spend tomorrow's segment just catching up, and talking about the upcoming class. After tomorrow, I will be back with TJ and Lisa every OTHER Friday morning.

I don't know about you, but I could really use a new tv.
Having a superbowl party? Ashamed of your current, very small and not nearly adequate for a superbowl, tv? Well, I have good news!
Right now, there are not one, but TWO Target Cartwheels for TV's! Get 5% off a 39 inch Magnavox hdtv, OR 5% off a 60 inch Vizio hdtv, just by using Cartwheel. Also, Target redcard holders will get an additional 5% off of that price. AND...if you are like me, you have been saving your Target pharmacy rewards card for just the right purcahse. This is definately it!
As if all of that wasn't enough, if you go to Target.com, they have a printable coupon for 5% off ANY hdtv!
So, in short, if you have Carthwheel, Target RedCard, Target Pharmacy Rewards, and a printable Target coupon, you can score a new TV with a 20% discount! Now that's MY kind of Superbowl!
Happy Commercial Watching!

Well, Bryan and I were among the thousands (it seemed like) of other people that ran to HyVee before the big weather snap yesterday. Wow, do they ever have some good deals going on right now.
My biggest thrill find was the produce section. Strawberries, lettuce, and blackberries, were all on sale. Also, HyVee yogurt is just .29 cents a container right now! Oh yeah, and the chicken! Whole chicken breasts, .99 cents a pound!! This is an excellent price! 5 lb bags of potatoes are also on sale for .99 cents this week.
So, in short, go to Hyvee! :)
I hope you are all having a great week!

We're baaaaaack! :)
Bryan and I have been very busy the last week or two. After we took all the Christmas stuff down, we re-arranged our office, and my couponing area. I then spent an entire day going through all of my couponing stuff, and getting it organized. I am sooooo exited to say, I am ready for the New Year of saving money!!!
I will be back with TJ and Lisa within the next couple of weeks. In the meantime, don't forget to post your successes to the Facebook page, Non-Extreme Couponing, and send us a private email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions, or would like to set up a private session.
Unfortunately, we did have to cancel the class we were going to do on January 21st, due to not enough interest. Bryan and I were wondering if the reason for this lack of interest was due to the fact that we are charging for this class, so I wanted to touch base on that.
When LCC (Lincoln Community Center) first contacted us about doing a class, we had no idea what all it would entail. We have since discovered that we do need to pay for the room, and for advertising in their catalog, for the class. Also, there is a bit of prep that goes into getting ready for a class like this, it is not as easy as we make it look. :) That is the reason for the charge, I hope this explanation helps, and also, I promise you it will be worth it! The next class is scheduled for Tuesday, March 18th, from 6-9pm, at LCC, and you can register by going to mankatocer.com and clicking on Resgistrations.
Thanks so much for sticking with us during our Holiday break, we look forward to helping you save money in 2014!

As I'm sure is the case for most of you, I tend to get really bogged down this time of year. Cookie exchanges, Pinterest parties, and just the regular hustle and bustle of this time of year can make it hard to stay focused.
I want you all to know that Bryan and I ARE continuing to coupon, Bryan more than me actually, we just haven't been "bragging" as much. I promise that will all change after the New Year. So don't get me wrong, I am not taking a break from couponing, just maybe not doing as many other things with it as I usually do.
For instance, I have taken a brief hiatus from TJ and Lisa. They have assured me that I can come back right after the New Year, and pick up where I left off, so that is what I will do. Along with the Holidays, I decided to take a little time to get better organized with the coupons, so that I can better teach YOU how we do it!
Also, we ARE doing another couponing class, this time in January, after the Holdiays. To sign up, just go to mankatocer.com, click on online registrations at the top of the page, then on Adult Enrichment, then on General Interest. The class is called Non-Extreme Couponing, it is on January 21st, and the cost is $15. And as always, please continue to post to our Facebook group, Non-Extreme Couponing, when YOU get a really good deal with coupons. I am super excited to see what we can all save on Christmas this year.
I also just wanted to remind you all that I am available for private couponing lessons if need be. I would like to stay around the Mankato area, but would be willing to travel short distances for a small fee. I will start taking appointments after the Holidays!
So, for now, keep doing what you're doing, and have a fantastic, and safe, Holiday season!
